Meet Our Team: John DeMaria

It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to the one and only John DeMaria in our “Meet Our Team” series.

John has been in the boating industry for more than 23 years and is our resident master mechanic and rigger extraordinaire. There isn’t a problem he cannot fix and his extensive knowledge of all things related to boating makes him an extremely valuable part of our Hanckel Marine team.

Even though John only joined Hanckel Marine less than a year ago, it is difficult for us to remember a time when he wasn’t here. When asked what he loves most about working for Hanckel Marine, John said, “the attention to quality service and customer satisfaction from the entire team.”

When he is not working his magic on boats that are brought into his shop, John enjoys spending his days out on the water (of course).

“I like going for a pleasure cruise in Charleston to view the beautiful scenery and waterways,” said John. “I also like parking my boat on a sand bar and connecting with other people in the boating community.”
